South-east Queensland lockdown ends 4pm Sunday, 8 August, 2021

Some COVID-19 restrictions will continue for the next two weeks in parts of South East Queensland.

HOSPITAL VISITORS

We are pleased to advise hospital visiting hours have been reinstated.

In the interests of our patients, staff and doctors, visiting hours are currently:

  • Monday - Sunday 3:30pm - 5:30pm
    A maximum of 2 visitors per patient is permitted.

All visitors must adhere to the below:

  • All visitors aged 14 years and over must wear a mask whilst on the Hospital premises.
  • All visitors must check in using the Check In QLD app.
  • Any visitor with COVID-19 symptoms or who has visited an identified COVID hotspot is requested to refrain from visitation and follow QLD Government directives.

Visitors who will not be permitted entry is anyone who:

  • is unwell
  • has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or asked to quarantine
  • is in home quarantine, unless granted an exemption
  • has returned from overseas in the last 14 days (excluding safe travel zone countries), unless granted an exemption
  • has had contact with a person with COVID-19 in the last 14 days
  • has visited a COVID-19 hotspot in the last 14 days or since the hotspot was declared (whichever is shorter)
  • has visited an interstate exposure venue in the last 14 days unless an exemption has been granted for an end of life visit
  • has been in an interstate area of concern in the last 14 days or since the identified start date (whichever is shorter), unless they have received a negative COVID-19 test since entering Queensland
  • has been tested for COVID-19 and are waiting to receive the results (except for tests due to surveillance testing obligations)
  • has COVID-19 symptoms of fever (37.5 degrees or more), cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, loss of smell or taste, runny nose, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting or fatigue.

If you have any questions regarding current visiting hours, it is recommended that you contact our hospital directly to confirm visitation rules and visiting hours, before leaving home.

It is vitally important that the above visitor restrictions are strictly adhered to.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR STAFF, PATIENTS AND VISITORS:
The following QLD Health COVID-19 restrictions remain unchanged.

Unless you are a patient at our hospital, you cannot visit if you:

· have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or asked to quarantine

· have returned from overseas in the last 14 days (excluding safe travel zone countries)

· have had contact with a person with COVID-19 in the last 14 days

· have visited a COVID-19 hotspot in the last 14 days or since the hotspot was declared (whichever is shorter)

· have visited an interstate exposure venue in the last 14 days

· have been in an interstate area of concern in the last 14 days or since the identified start date (whichever is shorter), unless you fit into one of the categories of people who are allowed to enter a facility with a negative COVID-19 test

· have been tested for COVID-19 and are waiting to receive the results (except for tests due to surveillance testing obligations)

· have COVID-19 symptoms of fever (37.5 degrees or more), cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, loss of smell or taste, runny nose, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting or fatigue.

Get tested
If you have any symptoms at all, get tested immediately and quarantine at home until you receive a negative result.

COVID-19 updates
We will continue to closely monitor the evolving situation and follow guidance issued by QLD Health and amend any measures as necessary.
