REHABILITATION PHYSICIAN

Dr David Eckerman MBBS, FAFRM (RACP) is a Senior Rehabilitation Physician specialising in neurological rehabilitation, spinal medicine, brain injury rehabilitation, geriatric and orthopaedic rehabilitation.

He has a particular interest in spasticity/ dystonia management, botulinium toxin therapeutic use, stroke rehabilitation and neuro degenerative diseases, as well as movement disorder rehabilitation, musculoskeletal medicine and rehabilitation in chronic pain.

When not at work, Dr Eckerman loves riding his bicycle on the roads of the Sunshine Coast, his mountain bike in the National Parks and skiing in winter. He also enjoys spending time with his family and indulging in good gastronomy and cooking.

Dr Eckerman is also fluent in Spanish.
