Professional background
Dr John Endacott provides inpatient and outpatient care for older patients including management of cognitive decline, inpatient acute and subacute care, and restorative care/ rehabilitation. John has some availability for Comprehensive Geriatrics Assessments for Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACFs). These are restricted mostly to the NoosaCare facilities (Kabara and Carramar) and Arcare Peregian Springs. Referrals from other RACFs could be considered for patients previously known to John or on a case-by-case basis. All RACF clinical visits are bulk-billed. From the second half of 2024, John will be a participant in the Australian Dementia Network Registry (ADNet). John has developed insights and an interest in connecting care across the health system from primary care, to hospital care and into community where social networks become vitally important in maintaining a patient’s sense of connection and well-being. John uses this experience and knowledge from the private and public systems to provide holistic care that is tailored to his individual patient’s needs and values.
