Rehabilitation Programs
We have inpatient and day rehabilitation programs.
Orthopaedic Rehabilitation
This tailored program is for individuals who have had orthopaedic surgery (including but not limited to hip, knee or shoulder replacements) or require assistance returning to normal function following a fractured bone.
Day program structure
- One and a half to three hours of therapy (depending on tolerances)
- Exercise physiology, physiotherapy and occupational therapy
- One to two days per week over six weeks (program length can be varied based on your progress).
Cardiac Rehabilitation
The aim of this program is to help restore and improve cardiac function following an adverse event. This structured and personalised program will improve cardiac condition and provide individuals with the knowledge.
Day program structure
- One and a half hours of therapy
- Exercise physiology, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, dietetics and psychology
- Two days per week over six weeks (program length can be varied based on your progress).
Neurological Rehabilitation
This tailored program is for individuals who have a Neurological condition including Stroke, Parkinson’s, Peripheral/Poly Neuropathies, Spinal Injury, Motor Neurone Disease, MS, Guillian-Barre Syndrome, Brain/Spinal Injury or Tumours.
Day program structure
- One and a half to three hours of therapy
- Exercise physiology, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, dietetics and psychology
- One to two days per week over six weeks (program length can be varied based on your progress).
Falls Prevention and Reconditioning
A structured, personalised program that rebuilds and reconditions those individuals who are at risk of a fall or following a fall.
Day program structure
- One and a half to three hours of therapy (depending on tolerances)
- Exercise physiology, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, dietetics and psychology
- One to two days per week over six weeks (program length can be varied based on your progress).
Oncology Rehabilitation
This program aims to reduce the impact of cancer treatments on the body and mind, plus improve function in day to day life activities and quality of life.
Day program structure
- One and a half to three hours of therapy (depending on tolerances)
- Exercise physiology, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, dietetics and psychology
- One to two days per week over six weeks (program length can be varied based on your progress and capacity).
Trauma Rehabilitation
This structured yet personalised program works with individuals to get them to optimal functioning as quickly and smoothly as possible following a trauma injury or event.

- Exercise physiology, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, dietetics and psychology
- One to two days per week over six weeks (program length can be varied based on your progress).
Pain Management
A structured, evidence-based approach to pain management that incorporates non -pharmacological modalities including a graded exercise program and cognitive behavioural therapy.

- One to two days per week over six weeks (program length can be varied based on your progress).
Spasticity Clinic
Botulinum toxin injections are used in combination with physiotherapy and occupational therapy to improve function and independence by minimising the contractures and improving activities of daily living.
Parkinson’s Disease Program
A multidisciplinary rehabilitation program, designed to improve movement, function and speech quality for individuals diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
Reconditioning Program
Individualised program designed to assist individuals return to their normal level of function following a medical illness, procedure or exacerbation of chronic condition.
