Our hospital allows 2 visitors per patient during hospital visiting hours, in accordance with the latest Queensland Health directives on COVID-19.

The Queensland Government have advised that effective 7am, Wednesday 18th January 2023, the traffic light level has been de-escalate from orange to green.
This means that the requirement to wear masks in hospitals has been lifted as per the below:
Green (baseline) means there are low rates of community transmission and Queensland is not in a COVID-19 wave.
When the traffic light is green, we recommend you:
You can wear a mask at any time if you choose to.
You should always stay home if you’re sick, maintain good hygiene and keep up to date with your vaccinations.

Our Zero Tolerance Policy ensures all our staff are treated with courtesy and respect. Please be aware that any real or threatened abuse towards our staff or others in the hospital will not be tolerated.’
In accordance with Queensland legislation, smoking is prohibited on Eden Private Hospital grounds, and a five metre buffer beyond our boundary. This applies to all patients, visitors and staff at all times and includes all smoking products including regular cigarettes and e-cigarettes. Please observe no smoking signage around our hospital grounds, as Queensland Health can issue on the spot fines to people in breach of this legislation.
