Reconditioning
Preventing functional decline and improving physical capacity following significant medical illness (or general surgery) will ensure you retain the ability to manage safely in your own residence, and reduce the risk of further admission into hospital.
Reconditioning rehabilitation program
At Eden Private Hospital we understand that many different circumstances can lead to a decline in an individual's physical function, and their ability to cope in their own environment. As we age it is extremely common to experience increasing trouble recovering following general surgery, or medical illness such as urinary tract infection, cellulitis, or even just a cold or flu.
The rehabilitation team are well aware of these issues, and also how to treat and prevent them. We'll help you return to your own home, and reduce risk of further deterioration, as quickly and as safely as possible.
